Tesla ends 1021-day labor dispute in Sweden by buying out all striking workers
Swedish trade union IF Metall announced that it will officially call off the strike against Tesla on August 19. The strike began on October 27, 2023, lasting 1021 days. Tesla avoided signing a collective agreement by offering severance pay to all remaining striking members, leading them to accept and leave. Previously, dockworkers, postal services, and electricians in Sweden had also taken solidarity actions.
