Bitcoin's major corporate holders, Strategy and Metaplanet, have reiterated their long-term bullish stance on Bitcoin, emphasizing its fixed supply of 21 million coins against a global M2 money supply exceeding $100 trillion.
Michael Saylor, Executive Chairman of Strategy, and Simon Gerovich, CEO of Metaplanet, both stated that Bitcoin's fixed supply of 21 million coins is superior to unlimited money printing, regardless of short-term price fluctuations. Gerovich noted that global M2 money supply has reached an all-time high of over $100 trillion, calling it a long-term bullish tailwind for Bitcoin. Saylor described Bitcoin as "digital monetary energy" because its supply cannot be arbitrarily expanded. Strategy holds 840,447 Bitcoin (valued at $53 billion), and Metaplanet holds 43,000 Bitcoin (valued at $2.7 billion). Jurrier Timmer, Fidelity's Director of Global Macro, also predicted that Bitcoin would catch up with the money supply if gold rises again.
