Ethereum competitor Monad offered early investors up to $60 million in early cash-out opportunities, but almost all declined
The Monad Foundation announced on Tuesday that it has completed a program to repurchase a portion of MON tokens locked by early investors at a discounted price, for which it had earmarked up to $60 million. The program aimed to provide liquidity to early investors in need, but almost all contacted investors declined this early cash-out opportunity. This repurchase occurred three months before the investors' tokens were unlocked. Currently, MON tokens are trading at approximately $0.021, about 16% lower than the public sale price of $0.025 last year.
