Anthropic plans to grant CEO Amodei and co-founders super-voting shares to ensure their control over the company after its IPO.
According to The Information, citing people familiar with the matter, the move is aimed at fending off external shareholder pressure, as CEO Dario Amodei himself only holds about 2% of the company's equity. The artificial intelligence company, valued at $965 billion, is expected to go public as early as this fall.
