Hong Kong stocks declined on Wednesday, with the Hang Seng Index falling 0.5% to 25,323.70 and the Hang Seng Tech Index dropping 1.4%. Investors were put on tenterhooks by elevated US Treasury yields and a stalled diplomatic path towards resolving the Middle East conflict. On the mainland, the CSI 300 Index slid 1.6% and the Shanghai Composite Index retreated 1%.
