Southeast Asian stock markets raised US$3 billion through initial public offerings (IPOs) in the first half of 2026, doubling the amount from the same period last year. Among them, Malaysia ranked first in Southeast Asia in terms of both funds raised and number of listings. Market reforms in Malaysia and Vietnam have facilitated larger listings, including those in the deep tech sector.
