Russia launched a large ballistic missile attack on the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, killing at least three people and wounding 20 others, with 14 of the wounded hospitalized. The strike caused a nine-storey residential building to collapse and catch fire, also damaging a children's hospital and leaving parts of the Sviatoshynskyi and Solomianskyi districts without electricity.
