The company is advancing B-TRAN prototype development to meet the growing demand for solid-state circuit protection in AI data centers, energy infrastructure, and automotive applications. David Somo, CEO of Ideal Power, stated that the company is making progress with Asian customers and Stellantis, and is collaborating with industry partners to develop smart solid-state circuit breaker (SSCB) prototypes for evaluation by a hyperscale data center operator. The technological transition related to the NVIDIA 800V architecture is expected to begin and rapidly proliferate in the second half of next year.
