Upstart Holdings (NASDAQ:UPST) announced second-quarter revenue of $365 million, a 42% year-over-year increase, with net income reaching $16.5 million, significantly higher than $5.6 million in the same period last year, and a record high contribution profit of $193 million. However, the company's CFO, Andrea Blankmeyer, explained that management decided to maintain the full-year guidance unchanged rather than raising it, as the Upstart Macro Index has risen to 1.5%, close to the upper end of the 2026 outlook range. Previously, CFO Blankmeyer sold 10,175 shares of company stock on August 17 and 19. This transaction was to satisfy tax obligations related to the settlement of restricted stock units and was a non-discretionary transaction, not reflecting her discretionary view on the company's valuation.
