Samsung Display restarts construction of A7 OLED factory, paused for five years, to meet demand for foldable phones and larger OLED panels.
Samsung Display's Investment Review Committee approved the construction of the A7 factory structure in Asan, South Chungcheong Province, on August 7. The contract is expected to be signed this month, with full-scale construction anticipated to begin next year, aiming for completion in early 2028.
