Japan's GX Acceleration Agency invests in nuclear fusion and plastics recycling startups, spurring $125 million in public-private funding
Japan's Green Transformation (GX) Acceleration Agency has invested in Kyoto Fusioneering and JEPLAN, helping to mobilize a total of 20 billion yen ($125 million) in combined public-private funding for the companies. This initiative is part of a broader plan to mobilize 370 trillion yen ($2.3 trillion) in public and private investment across 17 strategic sectors by fiscal 2040.
