Guinness Global Innovators Fund disclosed in its Q2 2026 investor letter that it has added Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) as a new holding.
The fund believes that AMD is well-positioned in high-performance and AI computing, has narrowed the performance gap with NVIDIA, and is poised to benefit from the shift in AI data centers towards more CPU-centric architectures. The fund specifically points out that AMD's Helios platform and EPYC server CPUs will be key growth drivers starting in 2027.
