USA Rare Earth receives US government-backed US$1.55 billion in financing, but share price still falls 5%
USA Rare Earth announced it has completed a $1.55 billion capital injection into a special purpose vehicle to acquire all products from the first phase of Serra Verde Group's rare earth production, with the U.S. Department of War committing $750 million. This capital injection fulfills a key closing condition for the Serra Verde acquisition. Despite this positive news, the company's stock price still fell 5% during intraday trading on Monday.
