Volatility Shares and Roundhill have filed for 32 NHL team futures ETFs.
Bloomberg Intelligence analyst Athanasios Psarofagis said on "ETF IQ" that Volatility Shares and Roundhill have each filed for an ETF for all 32 NHL teams. The funds would gain exposure through CME Group (CME) futures, tracking a team-specific FutureSports performance index. The index will be constructed from 55 official statistics, including wins and losses, and goals scored.
