Block board member and Afterpay co-founder Anthony Mathew Eisen sold 18,000 shares of the company's stock under a trading plan established in March.
A filing by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on August 24 revealed that Anthony Mathew Eisen, a member of Block's board of directors, sold 18,000 shares of Block stock at an average price of $80.80 per share, totaling approximately $1.4544 million. This sale was automatically executed under a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan adopted by him on March 2, which allows insiders to pre-arrange stock sales to avoid concerns about insider trading. Following this transaction, Eisen still directly holds approximately 1.5 million shares of Block stock, valued at about $121 million, representing 1% of his total holdings.
