Equinor, Aker BP, and Vår Energi have agreed to form a strategic collaboration focused on exploration activities on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS). The alliance plans to evaluate and drill approximately 20 to 25 exploration targets over the next four to five years, aiming to drill around five high-impact wells annually, with the ambition of discovering large new oil and gas fields to support long-term value in the region and energy supply to Europe.
