The transaction marks the sixth global sale of the J Press FP790, with installation at Quantum's plant having begun earlier this month. Quantum Flex Pack's CEO Brian Batease stated that this acquisition represents a major leap forward in their capabilities and commitment to advanced flexible packaging technology. The J Press FP790 boasts a print speed of 164 feet per minute, supports a maximum substrate width of 31 inches, and uses water-based CMYK inks with 1,200dpi resolution, capable of reproducing Pantone colors.
