President Trump: US Navy has cleared all mines from Strait of Hormuz, warns Iran any new mine placement will lead to immediate destruction of vessels
President Donald J. Trump announced via Truth Social that the United States Navy has informed him all mines have been removed or detonated from the international waters of the Strait of Hormuz. He stated that Iran has been notified that any ship or boat placing new mines will be immediately and systematically destroyed, adding that the US Space Force is monitoring every square inch of the Strait with a zero-tolerance policy on mine placement.
