At the 2026 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, Helen of Troy shareholders approved all four proposals, including the election of nine directors, executive compensation, expansion of the stock incentive plan, and the appointment of Grant Thornton as auditor for fiscal year 2027. CEO G. Scott Uzzell stated that the company faced challenges in fiscal year 2026, such as tariffs, retailer caution, and shifting trade patterns, and responded with measures including supplier diversification, product rationalization, cash flow generation, and debt reduction. He also unveiled a three-phase transformation roadmap for fiscal year 2027, focusing on reinvesting in priority brands, improving innovation and execution, and decentralizing decision-making closer to consumers through a new general manager structure.
