Mitsubishi Corp. Aims for Record 1.2 Trillion Yen ($7.5 Billion) Net Profit by FY2028, CEO Highlights Geopolitical Risks as Strength
Japanese trading house Mitsubishi Corp. is targeting a record net profit of 1.2 trillion yen ($7.5 billion) for the fiscal year ending March 2028. CEO Katsuya Nakanishi stated that geopolitical risks bring out the company's strengths, as it possesses expertise in laying out different scenarios. This target comes seven years after Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway first invested in the company. Nakanishi also noted that the prompts and questions humans feed to AI will become more important.
