Indian AI infrastructure company AM Intelligence announced it has signed a binding contract to order 9,000 NVIDIA Vera Rubin systems, becoming one of the first purchasers of this top-tier computing platform in Asia. The company, part of renewable energy enterprise Greenko Group Plc, plans to put these server rack systems into operation in southern India next year, serving cloud service providers and AI labs. This order is part of its $8 billion project plan, aiming to build 1 gigawatt of computing capacity, and plans to build 5 gigawatts of data center capacity by 2030, betting on India's low-cost renewable energy advantage to enter the global AI hashrate competition.
