Greg Golkov, Senior Vice President of Finance, will take over as interim CFO. Following this news, shares of other quantum computing companies also generally declined, with IonQ (IONQ) falling 3% to $40.68 and Rigetti Computing (RGTI) dropping 5% to $16.12. The company stated that Markovich's resignation was not due to any disagreement with the company on business, operations, accounting policies, or financial statements. D-Wave's revenue for the second quarter of 2026 was $3.08 million, lower than the expected $4.03 million.
