AI company Anthropic has reached a cloud services agreement with UK AI infrastructure company Nscale, valued at approximately $45 billion. Under the agreement, Anthropic will lease about 460 megawatts of computing capacity developed by Nscale at its data center in West Virginia and use NVIDIA's advanced Vera Rubin chips through the facility, which is expected to come online by the end of 2027. This move aims to alleviate the infrastructure pressure Anthropic faces due to the growing demand for its Claude AI model, following similar agreements the company has made with Advanced Micro Devices, Elon Musk's SpaceX, Google, and Broadcom.
