Okta (OKTA) shares jump 15% in extended trading after Q2 earnings beat estimates and company raises full-year guidance, citing strong AI-driven demand for identity security.
Okta reported Q2 revenue rose 11% and net income reached $116 million. The identity software provider also closed dozens of AI deals, including a multi-million-dollar agreement with a healthcare company, with new products accounting for 30% of total bookings. The company raised its full-year revenue guidance to $3.22 billion-$3.23 billion and adjusted EPS to $3.90-$3.94, both above analyst estimates. Okta also completed the acquisition of threat detection startup Permiso Security for approximately $200 million.
