NVIDIA expects Q3 gross margin to be around 74%, with Q4 bottoming out at 71%-72% due to higher-than-expected memory price increases.
NVIDIA warned on its earnings call that due to "extreme pricing conditions" in the memory market, price increases have exceeded previous expectations. The company expects a gross margin of approximately 74% in the third quarter, which will then bottom out at 71% to 72% in the fourth quarter, before stabilizing at 72% to 73% in the first quarter of fiscal year 2028 after price adjustments take effect.
