Fed Governor Lisa Cook denies mortgage fraud allegations, stating Trump has no grounds to remove her from office
Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook on Wednesday denied White House allegations that she had committed mortgage fraud. Cook's attorney, Abbe Lowell, stated that an inadvertent error is not fraud, adding that this is the second time in a year they have explained why President Trump has no legal basis to remove Governor Cook for cause.
