Zhipu AI confirmed on Thursday that the Ox Alpha model, previously tested anonymously, is its newly released GLM-5.3-Flash (320B-A18B). The model scored 57 points on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence comprehensive intelligence index, on par with Anthropic's Claude Opus 4.8, and higher than DeepSeek's flagship model V4 Pro's 53 points. Zhipu AI also disclosed that the model accumulated over 50 trillion tokens in traffic on the OpenRouter and OpenCode platforms within 5 days, more than double that of DeepSeek. All traffic was handled by a cluster of over 100,000 domestically produced chips, achieving hardware efficiency and per-token cost comparable to mainstream NVIDIA GPUs.
