Daewoong Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. of South Korea obtains mRNA technology patent license from the U.S.
Daewoong Pharmaceutical has received patent authorization from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for its ionizable lipid technology used in its mRNA delivery platform, eTurna. This authorization means the patent application has been approved, but Daewoong Pharmaceutical still needs to complete additional procedures for the patent to be officially registered and legally effective in the United States.
