US Initial Jobless Claims Fall to 203K in Aug 22 Week, Below Estimates
US initial jobless claims decreased by 4,000 to 203,000 in the week ended August 22, falling below the survey estimate of 208,000. Additionally, continuing claims for the week ended August 15 fell by 18,000 to 1,778,000. Initial jobless claims for the August 15 week were revised to 207,000.
