Arrive Logistics Plans to Hire 1,000 People and Expand Freight Services by 2026 After Mubadala Capital Acquires Majority Stake
Mubadala Capital, the global alternative asset management arm of Mubadala Investment Co., has agreed to acquire a majority stake in the Austin, Texas-based freight brokerage firm. Arrive Logistics stated that this investment will accelerate its hiring, technology investments, and expansion into more freight services, including produce, cross-border, open-deck, less-than-truckload (LTL), and a general trailer pool. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed and it is expected to close in the fourth quarter.
