IES plans $650M DBM Global acquisition, citing data center boom and 39% operating income growth
IES (NASDAQ:IESC) announced plans to acquire structural steel fabricator DBM Global for approximately $650 million, its largest acquisition to date, expected to close around December 31, 2026. The company highlighted that data centers are driving its growth, with operating income for the first nine months of fiscal 2026 reaching $389 million, a 39% year-over-year increase.
