MoonPay integrates Solana lending protocol Kamino into its PayBox AI payment platform, enabling AI agents to process crypto lending.
This initiative allows eligible users to engage in token lending or borrow against crypto assets by conversing with AI agents such as ChatGPT or Claude. The Kamino protocol currently has a total value locked (TVL) of approximately $1.3 billion, with active loans around $1 billion. However, this integration does not create new lending products; instead, it replaces Kamino's traditional interface with natural language instructions. This feature is not yet available in the United States, United Kingdom, European Union, and Australia.
