Agricultural Bank of China's net profit for the first half of the year was 148.1 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.8%. Broad-based financing increased by over 3.2 trillion yuan.
Agricultural Bank of China released its 2026 interim results report. As of the end of June, the bank's total assets reached RMB 51.06 trillion, with operating income of RMB 411.1 billion, a year-on-year increase of 11.2%. The net interest margin recorded 1.28%, an increase of 2 basis points from the first quarter. Affected by the improvement in liability costs, the deposit interest rate decreased by 21 basis points from the end of last year to 1.13%. In addition, the ABC board of directors proposed to increase the cash dividend ratio to 31%, distributing an interim dividend of RMB 1.297 (tax inclusive) per 10 shares for the year 2026, with a total cash dividend of RMB 45.393 billion.
