Voss Capital noted in the letter that Versigent PLC (NYSE:VGNT), a Swiss automotive electrical systems manufacturer spun off from Aptiv PLC, is one of the global oligopolies in the highly complex automotive wiring harness market. Versigent's business stands to benefit as automakers add more content to vehicles (such as rear-seat TV screens, front-seat massage functions, and multi-zone climate control), and as hybrid and electric vehicles demand 1.5 times and 1.7 times the wiring harness content of internal combustion engine vehicles, respectively. Voss Capital added VGNT to its portfolio in the second quarter. As of August 27, VGNT shares were trading at $48.56, up 17.44% over the past month.
