Aristotle Capital Management stated in its Q2 2026 investor letter that it had exited its position in natural gas utility company Atmos Energy (ATO). The reasons cited were that its initial growth catalysts had largely materialized, and future growth plans were expected to require higher equity capital. The fund reallocated the proceeds to software company Autodesk (ADSK), believing it offered a more attractive investment opportunity.
