Aristotle Capital's Value Equity Fund noted in its Q2 2026 investor letter that Corteva (CTVA) faces near-term headwinds such as tariffs, rising oil prices, and competition in Latin American and Asian markets, but its long-term growth prospects remain solid.
The fund stated that the market also weighed the complexities of Corteva's plan to spin off into New Corteva and Vylor in the fourth quarter. Nevertheless, the fund believes that Corteva's investment thesis remains unchanged, with farmers continuously adopting its latest technologies, and R&D innovation and cost management enhancing its long-term competitiveness. Corteva repurchased $500 million in shares in the first half of this year and established a partnership with FMC Corporation. As of August 27, Corteva's stock price closed at $82.88, with a market capitalization of approximately $54.98 billion.
