Blue Owl-Led $2.4 Billion Iren Debt Deal to Fund Nvidia Blackwell Ultra GPU Purchases for Canada Data Center
Funds managed by Blue Owl Capital Inc. led a $2.4 billion debt deal for cloud computing provider Iren Ltd., which will use the proceeds to acquire Nvidia Corp.'s Blackwell Ultra GPUs for a data center campus in Canada. The financing, also backed by Pacific Investment Management Co., consists of a $1.2 billion senior-secured term loan and $1.2 billion in senior secured notes, both carrying a 9% interest rate and maturing two and a half years after funding.
