South Korean individual investors net purchased $7.04 billion worth of US stocks from July 1 through Thursday
According to industry data released Sunday by the Korea Securities Depository, South Korean retail investors bought a net $7.04 billion worth of stocks in the US market over the past two months, from July 1 through Thursday. This occurred amid a correction in their local equity market. Over the same period, they also purchased a net 8.75 trillion won ($6.34 billion) in the benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI).
