Ripple Prime, Ripple's brokerage arm, launched its Delta One trading desk on August 27, offering total return swaps for Wall Street equities and digital assets, with XRP available as collateral.
Ripple Prime's Delta One desk allows hedge funds, asset managers, and other institutions to gain exposure to Apple stock, the S&P 500 index, or a basket of digital assets without actually purchasing the underlying assets. In this business, XRP primarily serves as collateral for clients rather than assets purchased by Ripple itself. The division launched with over $1 billion in regulatory net capital.
