Hong Kong maintained its position as the city with the most billionaires in Asia last year, ranking second globally only to New York, according to the latest data from New York-based firm Altrata. Meanwhile, Chinese mainland cities are rapidly catching up, fueled by wealth accumulation from the artificial intelligence (AI) boom, with Beijing and Shenzhen now among the top 15 billionaire cities worldwide.
