Teva Pharmaceuticals International has offered to acquire neuroscience assets from BioXcel Therapeutics for a total deal value of up to $125 million. This agreement is part of BioXcel Therapeutics' voluntary Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, initiating a court-supervised sale of its main assets. Teva would obtain worldwide rights to Igalmi (dexmedetomidine) sublingual film and the investigational BXCL501, which is currently under FDA review for potential at-home use in treating acute agitation.
