Greece and Israel sign a $3.5 billion air defense agreement to build the former's first multi-layered air defense network.
The protocol, negotiated over three years, is described by Israel as one of the largest defense agreements in the country's history. Greece will integrate three Israeli systems, including the SPYDER system produced by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, the BARAK MX system manufactured by Israel Aerospace Industries, and the David's Sling air defense technology.
