Horizon Robotics released its 2026 interim results on the evening of August 31st. The turnaround in profit was primarily due to fair value changes related to the convertible loan with CARIAD and a one-time gain from the deconsolidation of Digua Robotics. In the first half of the year, licensing and service revenue increased by 52.7% year-on-year to 1.129 billion yuan, accounting for 55% of total revenue, with a gross profit margin of 90.4%. Shipments of the Journey series chips reached 2.218 million units, a year-on-year increase of 12.1%. The company has secured design wins for nearly 500 car models, including nearly 130 mid-to-high-end intelligent driving models, with concentrated deliveries expected from the second half of this year to next year. The Volkswagen project plans to enter seven new energy vehicles from FAW-Volkswagen, SAIC Volkswagen, and Volkswagen Anhui within the year. Horizon Robotics expects full-year revenue to exceed 5 billion yuan and maintains its goal of achieving break-even around 2028.
