AMD, Cisco, and Saudi AI company HUMAIN announced that AI infrastructure based on AMD Instinct MI355X GPUs has officially commenced production operations in Saudi Arabia, with the first batch of hashrate now available to customers in Saudi Arabia and the broader region. This deployment is powered by AMD Instinct MI355X GPUs, AMD EPYC CPUs, and Cisco Silicon One networking infrastructure. HUMAIN, supported by Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund, the Public Investment Fund (PIF), will provide hashrate through a "GPU-as-a-Service" model. The next phase of the project's expansion is expected to begin in 2027, introducing AMD's next-generation Instinct MI400 series GPUs, with an expansion scale of up to 250 megawatts.
