MD Sass disclosed in its Q2 2026 investor letter that it has initiated a position in Flowserve (FLS), bullish on its long-term potential in the nuclear power market.
MD Sass notes that Flowserve is a major supplier of highly engineered pumps and valves for nuclear reactors. Once these critical components are installed, it is difficult to switch suppliers due to regulatory requirements and operational risks, which translates into attractive original equipment economics and long-term revenue from replacement parts and services. As of August 28, Flowserve's stock price was $80.33, up 49.70% over the past 52 weeks.
