Bernstein analyst Douglas Harned stated in a Monday report that if Elon Musk's SpaceX were to build its own mobile network to challenge carriers like Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T, the cost could range from $50 billion to $130 billion. Additionally, JPMorgan Chase analysts estimate that SpaceX's capital expenditures could reach $200 billion or more in 2027 and 2028. SpaceX's second-quarter capital expenditure was $18.4 billion, significantly exceeding analysts' expectations of $6 billion. The company's stock price rebounded to $142 on August 31, after hitting an intraday low of $104.83 on August 3.
