1inch enhances DeFi capital efficiency by allowing users to keep assets in their wallets while supporting multiple liquidity positions through its Aqua shared liquidity layer.
Holly Atkinson, Chief Product and Technology Officer at 1inch, stated that the method aims to address the low asset utilization in decentralized finance and reduce approximately 85% of idle capital in traditional Automated Market Maker (AMM) pools. Aqua is currently operational on 13 EVM chains.
