Hugging Face's French subsidiary Pollen Robotics' new programmable personal robot, Microduck, has sold more than 10,000 units since its launch on Thursday, earning over $4 million based on its $399 unit price. The duck-shaped robot is powered by a chip from Shanghai-listed Rockchip, which uses British company ARM's technology. The strong sales have already delayed delivery times for new orders past the initial promise of Christmas 2026. Last month, The Information reported that Nvidia had agreed to acquire Hugging Face for $12.9 billion, though neither company commented on the report.
