Russia launched a new round of deadly attacks on Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, and surrounding areas, killing at least 12 people and injuring 20.
Ukrainian officials stated that the attack occurred overnight, with six of the victims being railway workers from Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways), and a garage was hit. Among the injured were two children. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Tuesday morning that nearly 350 rescuers worked overnight in Kyiv and the surrounding areas. Russia claimed its "massive high-precision weapon strikes" targeted Ukraine's military and energy facilities.
