Ethena launches Ethena Pay app on Avalanche in 48 countries, offering up to 6% yield on USDe balances and 10% cashback
Ethena Pay is a self-custodial money app built on Avalanche, allowing users to hold Ethena's USDe as a dollar balance. It offers payment services, free USD, EUR, and GBP bank transfers, and rewards across three membership tiers. Standard users can earn 5% APY on balances up to $5,000, while Pro and VIP users can earn 6% on balances up to $15,000 and $50,000 respectively. The Ethena Pay Card provides cashback of 4% to 5% in AVAX tokens, with Pro and VIP users also receiving up to 10% cashback at selected brands. The beta app is available on iOS and Android, rolling out in stages across 48 countries, excluding the U.S. and EU initially.
